Forced ventilation discharge bench

Principle

Our discharge benches enable batteries (industrial, automotive, materials handling) to be discharged by dissipating the energy into heat.
We can supply constant-current discharge benches. As the battery discharges, a series of make-up resistors are added to compensate for the voltage drop.

Forced ventilation

The heat produced is evacuated by a stream of ventilated air. This makes it possible to reduce heater size while increasing power output.
Designed for an air temperature of 40°C, these heaters are built to last.

Proven design

Our resistors have been designed for extreme applications: earthquakes, high temperatures, power surges, safety requirements... the manufacturing process, which began in 1975, has been tried and tested. Millions of resistors are in service around the world.
Discharge applications came later, benefiting from the development of load banks and braking resistors.
